- Recognise common neurological, neuromuscular and musculoskeletal causes of impaired dexterity.
- Identify psychological and behavioural barriers that may prevent patients from disclosing difficulties with oral hygiene.
- Adapt oral hygiene advice and recommend appropriate aids to support effective, dignified and individualised self-care.
